AI day trading software that reviews your day, not the market
Most products sold as AI for traders promise to predict the next move. DayTradingSoftware does something narrower and more useful: after the session it reads your own journal and writes a short review of the day, including the mistakes that keep repeating. It never forecasts prices and never tells you what to buy or sell.
An AI day review built from your own trades
Once your trades for the day are imported, you can request the AI day review. It looks at the trades, their setup and mistake tags, the R result, hold time, time of day and, when the trade came from a scan, the scan state at entry. Then it writes a plain summary.
- A one paragraph summary of the session in R and in dollars after commissions
- The setups that worked and the ones that did not, with the number of trades behind each
- Repeating mistakes, for example "3 of 4 losses came after moving the stop"
- Trades taken after your daily loss limit or outside your usual time window
- A comparison with your own averages from the last 20 sessions
- One question to think about before tomorrow's premarket
A typical review is five to ten sentences. It is meant to be read in two minutes after the close, not to replace your own weekly review in the trading journal.
What the AI review never does
The limits matter as much as the features, so here they are plainly.
- It does not predict prices, direction or the next move of any stock
- It does not generate buy or sell signals, entries or price targets
- It does not pick stocks or rank tickers for tomorrow
- It does not read news, social media or anyone else's trades
- It does not place, modify or cancel orders, and it has no access to your broker
- It is not investment advice and is not a substitute for a licensed adviser
The review works only with data you put into your journal. If your journal is empty, there is nothing to review.
Why a review beats a prediction for most traders
Most intraday losses do not come from a lack of ideas. They come from a small number of habits repeated under pressure: moving a stop, adding to a loser, chasing a stock 8 percent above the trigger, trading on after two red trades. A trader usually knows these habits exist but underestimates how often they happen. An honest count, delivered the same evening, is harder to argue with than a vague feeling.
That is also why the review uses mistake tags. The more consistently you tag, the more specific the review becomes. The day trading journal page explains how R, hold time and mistake cost are measured.
What about an AI stock scanner
Some traders look for an AI stock scanner that claims to find winners. Our stock scanner is rule based on purpose. It shows stocks that match the filters you set, such as gap above 10 percent, relative volume above 3x and price between $2 and $20, using licensed real-time US market data. You can see exactly why each symbol is on the list. The AI part of DayTradingSoftware sits after the trade, in review, where it can describe your behavior without pretending to know the future.
If you want to know which scan conditions actually pay for you, the journal links each trade to the scan state at entry, and the AI review mentions it when one condition stands out, for example that most of your losses this week came from gaps under 8 percent.
How your journal data is handled
Fitting the AI review into a daily routine
- After the close, import the day's executions and tag each trade
- Request the AI day review and read it once
- Copy the one sentence that matters into your notes for tomorrow
- Before the 9:30 ET open, reread that sentence and check your premarket watchlist
- On Friday, use the full reports and the backtesting software to test whether a pattern is real
Keep the review in perspective
An AI summary can misread context, for example a trade you tagged incorrectly. Treat it as a second pair of eyes on your numbers, not as an authority. Past performance and backtests do not guarantee future results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

FAQ
-
Does the AI predict the market
No. It never predicts prices or direction and never gives signals. It only summarizes trades already in your journal.
-
Which AI model do you use
Reviews are generated by an established AI model provider under a data processing agreement. We do not use your journal to train models.
-
Can I ask it what to trade tomorrow
No. Questions about which stocks to buy or sell are outside what the review does. It will point you back to your own data.
-
What if I trade on a day without importing
No review is generated for that day. You can import later and request the review for that date while it counts toward your monthly usage.
