DayTradingSoftware

TraderSync alternative that starts at the scan, not at the fill

TraderSync is a popular trading journal with automatic imports and AI driven feedback on your trades. DayTradingSoftware covers the same review work but begins earlier in the day, with a real-time scanner and alerts, so each journal entry knows which scan and which conditions led you into the trade.

What TraderSync does well

TraderSync is a journal first. It imports trades from many brokers and platforms, tracks statistics across instruments, offers trade replay and uses AI features to highlight patterns in your results. Plans are tiered, with more automation and analytics on the higher tiers.

It does not include a live market scanner. You find your trades in another tool and bring the results into TraderSync after the fact.

  • Journal with wide import support.
  • AI driven feedback on trading behaviour.
  • Trade replay and broad statistics.
  • No real-time scanner or scan based alerts.

When TraderSync fits you better

If you trade options, futures or forex as well as stocks and want one journal for all of them, TraderSync can suit you better, since DayTradingSoftware focuses on US stocks. It can also be the better fit if you are happy with your current scanner and only want a journal at a lower monthly price.

A scanner and a journal that talk to each other

DayTradingSoftware combines a real-time momentum scanner, premarket gappers, top gainers, RVOL and halts with a full trading journal. When a trade starts from one of your saved scans, the entry stores the scan state at that moment: gap %, RVOL, float and time of day.

Analytics that answer which scans pay

Because scan conditions sit next to each result, analytics break down your expectancy, profit factor, average R and max drawdown by setup, hour, weekday, price, float and hold time, and by the scan that found the stock. You can see, for instance, that your VWAP reclaim trades on names with float under 20 million work, while the same setup on higher float names does not.

AI that reviews only what you did

The AI day review summarizes your session from your own journal after the close: repeating mistakes, rule breaks, where the R went. It never predicts the market and never suggests a trade.

Size before you click

A built-in position size calculator takes your account risk and stop distance and returns the share count, so the plan in the journal matches the risk you took.

Moving from TraderSync

Export executions from your broker as CSV and import them. Tag your setups the way you already do, then build two or three saved scans that reflect how you find trades today. From then on, each trade taken from those scans adds scan context to your statistics.

Trading risk

DayTradingSoftware is a software tool, not investment advice. Past performance and backtests do not guarantee future results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

FAQ

  1. Does DayTradingSoftware journal options or futures

No. It is built for US stocks, from scanning to review. If most of your trading is in other markets, a multi asset journal will serve you better.

  2. What does the AI day review look at

Only your own journal for that session: entries, exits, stops, tags and notes. It does not read the market and it does not give recommendations.

  3. Can I keep my tags

Yes. Setup and mistake tags are free text you define, so you can recreate your current tagging system.
